Phone
Call 0141 474 8083. We answer the phone. If we miss the call (we’re often on a job), we ring back the same day. A photo or two of the job sent by email helps us quote accurately on the spot.
Drop us a line at bigsmers@hotmail.com — useful if you’ve got a longer list of items, want to attach photos, or are looking to set up a regular landlord or letting-agent arrangement.
Send us photos — or better, a video
WhatsApp a couple of photos and your postcode to 07506 990431 — the fastest way to a price, usually back within minutes. Email works too (bigsmers@hotmail.com), or attach them to the form above.
Best of all: a 60-second walk-round video. It’s the closest thing to us standing in the room — you get the most accurate price without waiting in for a visit.
- Start at the front door and film as you walk in — that shows us the access, stairs and hallways.
- Walk slowly room to room, pointing the camera at the stuff. Say it out loud as you go — “that’s going, that’s staying” — the video picks up your voice. Full house clearance where everything’s going? Just say so at the start and walk the lot.
- When you’re done, just say “video complete” and send it over on WhatsApp with your postcode. Realise afterwards you missed a room or a cupboard? No bother — just send a second quick clip of whatever you forgot. Price back, usually within the hour.
What happens after you contact us
- You ring or message with rough details — what’s the job, where, when.
- We quote — usually within 5 minutes on a phone call, or within an hour if you’ve messaged us.
- We book the job in — same-week availability most weeks, often same-day for small uplifts.
- We turn up, do the work, leave the place tidy. Pay on completion.
Response times
- Phone calls — answered live where possible, otherwise returned the same day, usually within an hour.
- Emails — replied to within 2 hours during the working day.
- Emails — replied to within 24 hours, usually the same day.
If it’s an urgent letting-agent end-of-tenancy job, ring rather than email — phone is always quickest.
